We all know we must eat for energy but my experience tells me that most of us are confused about what and when to eat and drink before, during and after a long training ride, a gym workout or a bucket-list endurance event.
The Fuel for Endurance workshop is a 1.5-hour interactive presentation and discussion which explains why whole foods nutrition should be the essence of your weekly training program. What nutrients are considered the "magic wands" for peak performance? How do the body's energy systems work, and what is your dominant system and fuel source as an endurance athlete? What are the key components of whole foods nutrition and optimal performance?
Participants will have the opportunity to make and sample nutritious whole foods that fuel performance and leave with simple recipes that will up your game!
